A bit of background
In August 2022 I was hurt in a cow accident on the farm. Seven broken ribs, a collapsed lung, a broken sacrum and a traumatic brain injury. I was still recovering from that when a second accident gave me a trimalleolar fracture — the ankle rebuilt with three plates and fifteen screws. Months of physical rehab here, then specialist rehabilitation in Colombia for and I'm home and moved to the Cotswolds and the studio is moving forward again.

A note on brain injury and farming
Farming is consistently one of the most dangerous industries in the UK, and brain injury is more common — and less talked about — than most people realise. I'm being open about what happened partly because the TBI and post-concussion community deserves more visibility, and partly because pretending the last few years didn't happen would feel like a strange way to move forward.
